The video and companion guide discuss what all plants need: water, sun and space. In order for plants to move to new locations and resources, they have adapted to disperse their seeds. The definition of a seed and overviews of different methods of seed dispersal are provided. This information was created as a part of Cornell University's "The Naturalist Outreach" Program. The Naturalist Outreach Program acts as a "STEM Speakers Bureau" to send Cornell undergraduates and graduate students to local classrooms and community groups to talk about the natural history, ecology, and behavior of animals and plants.
