Participatory Analysis for Community Action (PACA) is Peace Corps' unique approach to appreciative, participatory, gender-sensitive, inclusive, sustainable development. PACA is how Peace Corps Volunteers "do development" (Goal One) and build capacity for each and every project they support throughout their entire service.
The PACA Field Guide walks Volunteers and the community members with which they work through five specific phases of translating participatory analysis into community action. The Field Guide provides specific tools for implementing and improving projects along the way, and introduces six lenses for incorporating reflection and perspective into Volunteers’ capacity building efforts.
